I heard about Cody from a Shawn Ryan podcast and really found that I connected with his story. As a first responder, I have experienced some similar trauma and I really loved hearing and re-listening to his triumph over his trauma and the light he has found in his life. I love the apparel from Defy the Norm, and I love the message. I look at my shirts and flag as a message to myself as well as others.
